Envolvido na paisagem típica de montanha, na vertente ocidental da Serra da Estrela, onde domina o granito recortado por ribeiros e levadas de água cristalina, o INATEL Linhares da Beira *** surge imponente, instalado no antigo Solar Corte Real, dispondo de 26 quartos e de espaços de lazer exemplares, além do bar, sala de reuniões, piscina, campo de ténis e wi-fi gratuito.

A 12th century medieval village with unique architectural and artistic diversity, Linhares is an open-air museum favored by the breeze from Mondego Valley.
Surrounded by the typical mountain landscape, on the western slope of Serra da Estrela, and where the granite rules and is shaped by the streams and lagoons of crystal-clear water, the INATEL Linhares da Beira Hotel Rural *** stands impressively, housed in the former Solar Corte Real. It features 26 outstanding rooms and a variety of leisure facilities, including a bar, meeting room, swimming pool, tennis court, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Comprometidos com a sustentabilidade em todas as suas vertentes, o Monte da Provença implementa um conjunto amplo de práticas ecológicas: mais de 60% da eletricidade é gerada por painéis fotovoltaicos, o aquecimento e o arrefecimento recorrem a coletores solares e piso radiante, e toda a iluminação é LED. Temos também uma estratégia de economia circular da água: a água é tratada, reutilizada para rega e deixada infiltrar nos aquíferos por meio de valas e barragens naturais. A gastronomia segue o conceito “Chef on Demand”, reduzindo o desperdício alimentar, e privilegiamos fornecedores locais, cerca de 80% são da região. Além disso, cultivámos mais de 3 400 árvores na propriedade, contribuindo para o sequestro de CO₂, e vamos lançar uma vinha sustentável em breve, reforçando o nosso compromisso com a biodiversidade, a comunidade local e o turismo responsável.

The Eco Hotel Rural Monte da Provença, located in the heart of the Alto Alentejo region, is a charming boutique hotel where local tradition blends harmoniously with modern comfort. Our mission is to offer guests a serene and sophisticated retreat in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, valuing the region’s traditional architecture and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Every detail of the hotel, from the cozy rooms to the common areas, reflects our boutique character, designed to provide a personalised and memorable experience.
Committed to sustainability in all its dimensions, Monte da Provença implements a broad set of ecological practices: more than 60% of our electricity is generated by photovoltaic panels, heating and cooling systems rely on solar collectors and underfloor technology, and all lighting is LED. We also maintain a circular water-management strategy: water is treated on site, reused for irrigation and allowed to infiltrate natural aquifers through ditches and small dams. Our “Chef on Demand” gastronomy concept helps reduce food waste, and we prioritise local suppliers, around 80% are from the surrounding region. Moreover, over 3,400 trees have been planted on the property, contributing to CO₂ absorption, and a sustainable vineyard will soon be introduced, further strengthening our commitment to biodiversity, the local community and responsible tourism.
